Seema Naik

Therapist

In a previous professional garb, Seema was running a BPO. Volunteering at NGOs and supporting abuse victims convinced her to switch careers 10+ years ago to become a trained Mental Health Professional.

She has since trained in person-centred therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and Psychodrama, partially trained in Therapeutic Spiral Model – trauma-oriented psychodrama, sexual health and wellness, queer and kink affirmative therapy, and restorative circles. She is self-taught in positive psychology and firmly holds the principles of mindfulness, compassion, gratitude, strengths and resilience, and psychological safety in her thriving individual therapeutic practice.

She has worked with adolescents and young and old adults. Her clients have brought in challenges such as depression and anxiety, body image issues, sexual health and wellness, substance abuse, relationship concerns and more. She is also a Psychodrama trainer. Her most recent project is to work with women through their perimenopausal transition. This project will subsequently encompass men working with their partners through perimenopause and men going through andropause too.
